David A. Arnold, a comedian and Netflix celebrity, has passed away at the age of 54, according to his family.
The Fuller House writer passed away at his home from “natural causes” just three shows into his comedy tour, “Pace Ya Self.”
It is with tremendous regret that we confirm the untimely demise of our husband, father, brother, and friend, David A. Arnold,’ his family wrote in a statement sent to the LA Times.
David died peacefully today at home, and the cause of death was determined by the physicians to be natural causes.

As we are all surprised and grieved by this loss, we ask that you keep our family in your prayers and respect our privacy at this time.
Just hours before his family made the announcement of his death, he had uploaded a video of one of his comedic skits to Instagram.
I’ll never forget the day my oldest chose between my wife and me to send to the nursing home, David wrote.
Below that, friends and supporters left heartbreaking remarks.
His website and social media accounts have not yet posted a notice of his passing.
The comedian and author made his television debut on Jamie Foxx’s Laffapalooza and at the Montreal Comedy Festival.
Throughout his career, David has had two Netflix stand-up specials published. He published It Ain’t For The Weak in July of this year and David A. Arnold: Fat Ballerina in 2019.
Additionally, he developed the programme That Girl Lay Lay and served as its showrunner and executive producer.
He worked as a writer and producer on the Fuller House reboot as well as Tyler Perry’s House of Payne and Meet The Browns.
Arnold has two children, Anna-Grace and Ashlyn, with his wife Julie L. Harkness.
Online tributes to David were posted by friends, colleagues comic book creators, and people who had worked with him.
A TV writer and producer named Bryan Behar wrote: “Devastated to learn of David A. Arnold’s demise. He was one of the greatest comedians I’ve ever seen, a cherished part of our Fuller House writing staff, and a beautiful man in general.
David was at last enjoying the results of his decades of labour. May God bless his memory.
