SASSA COVID-19 SRD R350 Has Been Increased To R624 Threshhold

Regulations for the COVID-19 SRD have been amended! This means test income threshold for the COVID-19 SRD has been increased from R350 to R624.

This is the official statement released by SASSA via their official Twitter page.

If your application was declined you have the right to lodge an appeal for reconsideration on the DSD Independent Tribunal website at https://srd.dsd.gov.za

SASSA also announced that payments are underway, all qualifying applicants will receive their grants.
