Jim Kerr, the main singer of Simple Minds, is accused of breaking a restraining order by engaging in a campaign of internet stalking and harassment.
After a protracted stalking campaign in which Paul Kerr, 58, threatened to murder band superfan John Fagan and assault his wife, a restraining order was issued against him in January 2020.
He responded to allegations of continuing to stalk and harass Mr. Fagan today by making his appearance at Hove Crown Court via video connection from Wayland Prison in Norfolk.
Due to the ongoing labor dispute over legal assistance between criminal barristers in England and Wales and the government, Kerr was not represented in court.
Due to the lack of charges, Kerr’s case was postponed until Tuesday, September 13 by Judge Jeremy Gold.
