Following the Notting Hill Carnival, “severe stabbings” and “incidents of violence” have occurred in the streets, according to the Met Police.
After the three-day event concluded in West London yesterday night, police deployed exceptional stop and search powers there until 1 a.m. today.
The police have not yet provided any information on the number of victims or if any arrests have been made in connection with the occurrences.
