The corpse of a man who died on Friday afternoon after falling in Grand Canyon National Park has been discovered, according to rangers.

The 44-year-old man’s name and place of birth have not been made public. He fell west of the Bright Angel Point Trail on the Grand Canyon’s North Rim.

His corpse was found by Rangers 200 feet below the rim. The guy reportedly tumbled down the cliff while off the track.

An inquiry is being carried out by the Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office and the National Park Service.
