A week after being charged with felony burglary in Vermont, “Flash” actor Ezra Miller claims he is undergoing therapy for “complicated mental health concerns.” Miller said in a statement to Variety on Monday that it has been a “period of acute turmoil.”

Miller, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, stated, “I now recognize that I am afflicted with significant mental health difficulties and have initiated continuing therapy.” “I want to extend my apologies to everyone I have startled or disturbed in the past. I am dedicated to undertaking the required work to return to a healthy, productive, and secure phase of my life.”

According to Ezra Miller, they are seeking therapy for “complicated mental health concerns” following a spate of legal challenges.
The 29-year-old actor was booked in Stamford, Vermont, last week for allegedly stealing multiple bottles of alcohol from an unoccupied apartment. The hearing was scheduled on September 26.

Miller was also detained twice in Hawaii this year. Miller was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment in March after he reportedly screamed at and grabbed a lady singing at a karaoke club and then attacked a guy playing darts. Miller reportedly hurled a chair and struck a 26-year-old woman at a private event the following month.

The Associated Press stated that the parents of an 18-year-old filed a protective order against Miller this year, accusing Miller of grooming and other improper activity with her as a juvenile since she was 12 years old. She told Insider, however, that the charges are baseless.

In “Justice League,” “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” “Suicide Squad,” and Zach Synder’s “Justice League,” Miller portrayed Barry Allen and the superhuman speedster Flash. Miller is also slated to feature in the next “The Flash” film, but his recent legal troubles and unpredictable conduct have prompted concerns about the film’s release.

The AP adds that “The Flash,” a crucial pillar in Warner Bros. Discovery’s reorganization of its DC Films business, is still slated for release in June 2019.
