Abusive wife arrested for damaging husband’s privates

Nonhlanhla Khoza, MEC for Social Development in KwaZulu-Natal, has demanded the arrest of a female police officer who reportedly abused and battered her husband till his private parts bled.

The Durban, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) police officer has reportedly been assaulting her spouse for quite some time. In addition, it is said that the guy required a protective order after his wife harmed his private parts.

After years of severe attacks, the KZN Department of Social Development has deployed a team of social workers to give psychosocial help to the husband.

MEC Khoza said that gender-based violence should not be accepted regardless of the perpetrator.

“We concur that there are many instances of gender-based violence against women and children. However, we cannot deny that male partners also engage in abusive behavior. “It is crucial that we expose all of these instances of gender-based violence,” she said.

Khoza noted that it is terrible that even those charged with the obligation of enforcing legislation to stop the pandemic of GBVF are complicit in human rights violations.

“It defies logic that this police officer reportedly mistreated her spouse and felt she could not face the law. In our nation, even though police personnel are entrusted with the law, they are not above it.

“Since this guy has come forward to describe the years of abuse he has endured at the hands of his wife, we want the law to run its course. The allegation that this individual has been beaten for some time requires an inquiry.”

In an interview with Ukhozi FM on August 15, the guy said that his marriage had lasted twelve years. He verified the abuse and said that he and his wife had not shared a bedroom for the previous three years. He stated that he is concerned that the abuse is impacting their special-needs kid.

According to the spouse, both families have been informed of the abuse, yet it continues unabated. Additionally, he disclosed that his wife had shot him in the forehead, creating an open wound.
