‘Diamonds & Dolls’ actors almost drowned on vacation

Diamonds and Dolls reality TV stars are gearing up for the second season of the series and while away on vacation in Hartbeespoort dam last weekend, their boat faced complications that nearly cost them their lives.

According to Drum Magazine, Inno Morolong (cast member), Tebogo Ramokgadi (co-star and producer) and Tapiwa Munyuki (Inno’s lover) had to cut their weekend short when they nearly drowned to death.

‘WE WERE SCREAMING, PRAYING & CRYING’: ‘DIAMONDS AND DOLLS’ STAR

Tebogo informed the magazine that Tapiwa had taken them on a boat cruise when the tragedy occurred.

“Inno’s guy took us on a boat cruise. We were little late, but we went regardless. So, the sun was nearly setting.

“We were having a fantastic time on the boat, sipping champagne and joking. Suddenly the was a problem with the boat, it was no longer moving,” Tebogo says.

At first, they felt the matter was not significant until they saw that the capatain was frightened.

“We spent two hours in the water. After the first hour, the boat began gently sinking. We believed we were going to drown to death. We were yelling, weeping, and praying.

“The boat owner ultimately appeared after two hours. Had he come a minute later, it would have been too late. He came in a speed boat. It was one of the most terrible events I have ever encountered,” the Diamonds and Dolls producer adds.

INNO’S NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCE IN MAY

For Inno, who is also a party host and promoter, the boat event brought up memories of the automobile accident she was involved in earlier this year.

“This immediately brought back memories from the day of the vehicle accident.

“I asked God what is happening. Did I do anything wrong and why is all of this happening? But I am fortunate to be alive, it signifies that I am intended to be here,” the Diamonds and Dolls singer was reported as adding.

When the automobile collision occured in May, TimesLIVE reported that the controversial reality TV actress was on her way home to Welkom in Free State on Saturday afternoon when she was involved in the car crash that left her hospitalised.

“My automobile is a write-off. I am seriously injured. I nearly lost an eye. I am in agony. My entire body, my arm even my voice is not fine,” she had informed the site.
