DJ Zinhle has been criticised for her “mean girl energy” after she responded through Twitter to a dissatisfied client who had bought her Hair Majesty wig.
Thulisile Lushaba became popular when a TikTok video criticising the quality of her R3000 “custom” wig went viral.
As previously, though, Twitter users assert that Zinhle had a “attitude” toward other women.
Thulisile’s TikTok video mocking DJ Zinhle and her hair collection Hair Majesty went viral over the weekend.
In it, the Gauteng woman accused the celebrity of “false advertisement” with the item’s description. She even criticised her company for sending her package to the wrong location.
She later added: “I actually rate them a 0/10. I was generous in the video. What a waste of money.”

DJ Zinhle turned to Twitter to inform her fans after receiving several demands for a response.
She tweeted: “This must be the first time in history that a business receives a bad review…
Just so you know, I have contacted the customer and we are dealing with it. Further than that, I can’t help you guys”.
Additionally, Zinhle attacked journalists who attempted to reach her for remark.
She added: “To all journalists & publications who are now in possession of my private number, please delete it and never ever call me. If you need anything, please email my office. I refused to be harassed & abused by you guys”.
Thulisile informed her followers on Sunday that DJ Zinhle had sent her a direct message in which he pledged to “rectify” the issue.

A few followers defended Zinhle after her response and said that she went too far by posting a TikTok video about her experience.
However, the vast majority of Twitter users criticised Zinhle for her “arrogant” response.
@phile_andiswa: “Big brands deal with bad reviews behind the scenes, you could’ve contacted the lady without coming here on Twitter to tell us. In such a mean girl energy nogal? Aibo Zinhle”
@MhlengiNombeko: “The way you guys are so arrogant and never listen to customers the same people that bring business is so sad. This is the very same reason why people don’t support black excellence…just try to be humble, we use our hard-earned money and expect quality”
@Bophelo54851162: “Zinhle, sit down and humble yourself! The least you could have done was apologize, give the customer the quality she deserved, and moved on. This arrogance is disgusting for black excellence I must say. NB: QUALITY OVER QUANTITY”
@Praise707: “Honestly if I’m going to pay 3k on hair I expect nothing but the best. Take that review and do better”
@Bee46353940: “You’re selling Small Street wigs at a high price, stop with the arrogance. Also, false advertisements to rip people off”
@luxolo029: “Businesses are built on reputation and this was one of the first customer complaints. How you come out to make a statement like this reveals how arrogant your brand is and how you deal with complaints”
