President Buhari Approves the Appointment of Hon. Nasiru Ila Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters

Nasiru Baballe Ila has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters by President Muhammadu Buhari (House of Representatives).

Before entering politics, Hon Nasiru, a graduate of Victory College in Alexandria and West London College in the United Kingdom, was a prosperous businessman with holdings in haulage, ginning, and tannery.

He was elected to the National Assembly’s lower chamber in 2011 and 2015 to represent Kano’s Tarauni Federal Constituency.

Hon. Umar Ibrahim El-Yakub, who has been named Minister by the President, is replaced by the Chartered member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).
