30 people dead, burned alive in car accident in Kaduna, Nigeria

According to Abdurrahman Yakasai, a representative of the Nigerian Federal Road Safety Service, an accident involving two buses in northern Nigeria resulted in 30 persons being burned alive.

The tragedy happened on Thursday, July 21, in the northern state of Kaduna, according to the agency. On a stretch of the road linking the Nigerian capital Abuja and the city of Kano, two buses and a passenger car crashed. The crash set things on fire.

Yakasai claims that numerous further persons suffered significant injuries and were brought to a hospital. Speeding and irresponsible driving are allegedly to blame for the collision.
