Highlights of Kaizer Chiefs new signee Matlou in Portugal for Sanjoanense from 2019 to 2021

Lehlogonolo Matlou was signed by Kaizer Chiefs from Swallows FC this window, although not much information about his time with the Dube Birds is known.

The 24-year-old Matlou from Soweto was signed by Amakhosi together with his two Swallows colleagues, Dillan Solomons and Kamohelo Mahlatsi, as The South African website revealed last month.

The former Bidvest Wits, Cape Town All Stars, and Cape Umoya player didn’t get much playing time at Swallows last season under Dylan Kerr, but we assume Arthur Zwane and Dillan Shepperd, who worked with Matlou at Wits, are experts in their field.

Matlou might make his PSL debut for Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday, August 6, at Chatsworth from 17:30 against Royal AM.
