Hallmarking Awareness and Learning Online (HALO) to be opened to retailers in the UK

The Retailer with the Most Successful Online Initiative for Displaying the New Format Dealers Notice and Educating Customers About UK Hallmarking will Receive the Award.

Retailers in the UK will have access to the Hallmarking Awareness and Learning Online (HALO). The application forms will be released soon.

The UK hallmark is one of the best barriers against unfair competition for the UK jewellery sector. The award encourages all retailers to assess their online hallmarking information, promote the prominence of hallmarks, and offer pertinent information through their online space. It is introduced in connection with the publication of a new, digitally appropriate Dealers Notice.

The Retailer with the Most Successful Online Initiative for Displaying the New Format Dealers Notice and Educating Customers About UK Hallmarking will Receive the Award.

A silver plate with engraving will be given to the winner, who can keep it for a year. The winner will also receive a collection of digital assets to use to spread the word about their accomplishments on social media and across all retail channels.

Deadline for submissions: September 16, 2022 (previously 1 August 2022).
