An armed robbery in B – section Parkgate, KZN

On Monday night, five (5) cell phones and an undetermined quantity of cash were stolen during an armed robbery in B – section Parkgate, KZN.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) members arrived on the scene at about 21:34 and met with the two victims.

They reported to Reaction Officers that four (4) armed suspects had entered their residence and held them up. The accused used cords to bind their hands and legs (picture 2). Also, socks were used to gag them.

During the robbery, two containers containing five Rands (R5) coins and five cell phones were stolen. The suspects departed the scene of the robbery in an unknown route in a silver Honda (model unknown) with registration NT 12184.

There were no casualties reported at the scene.
