One killed in a collision on the N1

On the N1 south at the Onzerust off-ramp, there were reports of a collision involving a pedestrian. VRMED was sent to the scene.

When VRMED arrived, the pedestrian had suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead.

The scene was turned over to SAPS for further investigation.
