Gunmen attack a Taxi owner at M4 in La Mercy

A cab owner is currently being fired upon by gunmen on the M4 near La Mercy, and Medi Response paramedics are on the site.

According to reports from the site, a car allegedly drew up next to the taxi owner’s car and started shooting.

After being shot, the victim lost control of his car and it off the road.

The attackers are said to have made a u-turn and then crashed their own car.

The attackers allegedly got out of the car and ran off on foot.

The man is receiving advanced life support from Medi Response paramedics while being taken to the hospital.

The South African Police Services will conduct additional investigation.
