Train derailment next to the R103 Nottingham Road leaves two injured

Natal: Netcare 911 responded to a rail incident near to the R103 Nottingham Road at 11:56 on Sunday morning.

According to reports, a goods train derailed.

Most of the carts were lying down an embankment when medics got to the scene.

After being examined, it was discovered that two adult male passengers had suffered moderate injuries.

Both individuals received treatment before being taken by private ambulance to the hospital.
