Man, 30, falls from a height of approximately three stories

Just after 8 a.m. on Thursday, Emer-G-Med paramedics were summoned to a well-known shopping area in the Menlyn neighbourhood of Pretoria.

When authorities arrived on the scene, it was discovered that a man, who was about thirty years old, had fallen from a height of three stories. He was discovered in critical condition.

Before he was put on a mechanical ventilator to help him breathe, he required advanced life support intervention to stabilise him.

The individual was transported to a specialised facility for the necessary decisive care after the Netcare911 aeromedical helicopter’s aid was requested.

The South African Police Services will investigate into the fall’s cause as well as the circumstances leading up to it.
