Multiple families injured in a road crash on Seventh Avenue and Argyle Road in Morningside

A significant collision occurred on Seventh Avenue and Argyle Road in Morningside at around 10:30 am. ALS Paramedics, Netcare911, and Emer-G-Med (Pty) Ltd Paramedics also responded.

Unknown as to the precise reason for the incident, a car plowed through a crowded neighborhood eatery where many families were out having fun.

Following a triage, additional ambulances and paramedics trained in advanced life support were sent to help.

Nine individuals—who had suffered injuries ranging from minor to serious—were all stabilized on the scene before being sent to various Durban hospitals for the additional care they needed. Both children and adults who were hurt.

The SAPS responded and is doing more investigation.
