A bakkie and stationary minibus collides on the N1 approximately 50km north of Bloemfontein leaving nine injured

Early on Friday morning, VRMED responded to a collision on the N1 around 50 kilometres north of Bloemfontein.

When workers arrived, they discovered that a minibus that was stalled due to a technical failure had been struck by a bakkie.

The numerous patients were rapidly triaged by VRMED, ER24, and other agencies, and those who had slight to moderate injuries were swiftly stabilised.

Nine patients were moved to different hospitals in the Bloemfontein area.
