13-year-old schoolboy suffered serious injuries to his face when an electronic cigarette exploded in his mouth

A 13-year-old schoolboy in the Moscow area had an electronic cigarette explode in his mouth, causing severe facial damage.

The event happened in the Moscow suburb of Khimki. The teenager was smoking it when it exploded in his mouth.

The teenage boy sustained wounds to his lip, nose, right hand, and even chest. The youngster was admitted to the hospital in a critical state.

According to reports, the item blew up after spending many hours in the hot sun (Moscow has recently experienced temperatures of +30-32C).
