At her house in Waterloo, KZN, a 7-year-old girl vanished after being threatened with a beating for destroying the post box (Tuesday).

At around 18:58, Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a request for help in finding the youngster.

RUSA members were sent to her house, and when they got there, they spoke with her mother, who said that the girl and her friends had been playing in the yard when the post box was broken.

The mother warned her daughter that when the father got there, he was going to beat her. The mother carried on with her activities before realizing the child was gone at 17:00.

The woman called for help and organized a community-wide search.

Members of the neighborhood discovered the child at a neighbor’s home as Reaction Officers were about to begin a search there.
