Truck overturns on the R45 in Klapmuts leaves 35 people injured

Thirty-five passengers were injured this morning when the truck they were riding in overturned on the R45 in Klapmuts, Western Cape.

At 07h30, ER24 and Western Cape Metro EMS arrived to discover the truck on its side on the side of the road. M any individuals were discovered seated or wandering alongside the road.

Medics examined the patients and discovered that one man had significant injuries, while the other thirty-four had minor to moderate injuries. Thankfully, no fatalities were recored.

The patients were treated, and the seriously injured man was given advanced life support before being taken to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

The specifics of this occurrence are unknown, however local authorities were on the scene to conduct additional inquiries.
