Netflix’s The Chosen One actors die in a car accident on their way to location of the show

After their vans flipped over near the Baja California Peninsula, two actors from Netflix’s The Chosen One were killed and six others were injured in an auto accident in Mexico.

According to the Independent, the Baja California Department of Culture has declared Raymundo Garduno Cruz and Juan Francisco Gonzalez Aguilar dead.

Six more people, who have not been recognized, were injured, but the degree of their injuries is unknown.

While traveling between Mulegé and Santa Rosalia, where the show is being filmed, their vehicle apparently crashed in a barren location near Mulegé.

According to TMZ, the actors were filming a play about a 12-year-old child who discovers he is the second coming of Christ.

According to Comicbook, the film is based on a comic book by Mark Millar and illustrator Peter Gross, and production began in April.

The series has yet to be released, and it is unknown how Netflix will proceed in the future.

Netflix has not publicly addressed the incident.
