Road closed due to a car and truck collision on P100, Tongaat

The P100 has been closed following a deadly accident between a taxi and a truck.

The cab driver died as a result of his injuries, while other passengers were treated on the scene but did not require transport to the hospital.

For the time being, the route is closed for investigation and recovery. The Verulam fire department and Metro traffic have secured the scene.

Please take a different route.
