The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations are ended, and the focus now shifts to the Duke of Cambridge’s birthday.

June is shaping up to be a busy month for the royal family, especially Prince William, who has been observed hawking Big Issue magazines while incognito in London.

Following a series of public appearances, it’s thought that Kate Middleton’s husband is planning a major birthday celebration with his family and three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis.

So, when will Prince William have his birthday party? What age will he be?

Here’s all you need to know about the Queen’s grandson’s milestone, including what she said about it:

The royal family is having a busy month of birthday celebrations, as they also honor the Queen’s ‘formal’ birthday.

Her Majesty’s actual birthday is in April, but she celebrates it with the country on the second Saturday in June, as is royal tradition. The Trooping of the Colour parade is frequently held to commemorate this.

Lilibet Diana, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter, celebrates her first birthday on June 4th. Prince William and Kate are said to have been unable to attend her reception.

The Duke of Cambridge will turn 40 years old this year, which is a significant milestone in his life.

Although it is unlikely that there would be a large royal celebration, a unique £5 coin featuring his visage will be minted to commemorate the event.

It will be his first official currency, and it will have him on one side and Queen Elizabeth II on the other.

It was designed by Thomas Docherty and features William’s royal cypher – the initial W — as well as the number 40. ‘HRH The Duke of Cambridge,’ reads an inscription on the edge.

The Queen is also said to have something special planned for her grandson on his special day.
