Machete-Wielding Teens Clash in Front of Adventure Island Theme Park in Southend-On-Sea, Resulting in Six Arrests and Dispersal Order

In a shocking turn of events, a scene of utter mayhem unfolded outside a theme park in Southend-on-Sea on Tuesday.

The trouble began when a group of young people, armed with machetes, engaged in a fierce brawl right near Adventure Island theme park.

The chaotic scene was captured on social media, showing hooded individuals wielding large knives while police watched from the sidelines.

As a result of the violence, six individuals have been taken into custody.

The incident spread quickly across the seafront and High Street, prompting an immediate response from local authorities.

To manage the situation and ensure public safety, a dispersal order has been issued for several areas, including Marine Parade, Pier Hill, High Street, Western Esplanade, and both train stations.

This order is effective from 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday and will remain in place until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Chief Superintendent Morgan Cronin emphasized the commitment to community safety, stating, “We want to make sure our communities are safe, and we will use all the appropriate powers at our disposal to do so.”
