One killed, 3 others injured as a vehicle somersault in Pretoria

A significant motor vehicle collision was reported near the R25 and R515 intersection, and Emer-G-Med paramedics responded.

According to reports from the scene, a single light motor vehicle exited the road and rolled down an embankment, ejecting some of the passengers.

A further examination revealed that a sixteen-year-old female patient had suffered critical injuries as a result of the collision. Emer-G-Med paramedics stabilized her on the scene before airlifting her to a specialty facility.

Unfortunately, a forty-year-old male patient suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead when paramedics arrived.

Two more people were injured moderately and were treated and stabilized on the scene before being transported to a local hospital for additional treatment.
