Following a fantastic extended weekend commemorating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Brits were jolted back to reality on Monday morning.

Many people expressed their desire for a bank holiday Monday instead of the previous week’s bank holiday Thursday on social media.
Commuters in London went to work to the pandemonium of a tube strike, with thousands of London Underground workers taking part in a day of action over job and pension issues.
