Suitably qualified students are encouraged to apply for admission to the Katsina State College of Nursing and Midwifery (CONAMKAT) Community Nursing Program in 2022.
The Nursing & Nursing Council of Nigeria has approved this two-year, four-semester Community Nursing program (NMCN).
It is designed to teach students practical community nursing skills and provide them with the knowledge and clinical experience they need to become Licensed Community Nurses (LCNs), who can provide nursing care to people who are sick or well and assist them in activities that promote health in the communities where they live and work.
The Kasimu Kofar Bai School of Nursing in Katsina is in charge of spearheading and implementing nursing and health care services to the general public as first responders, including home care (domiciliary nursing), consumables, first aid, primary case management, school health services, and prompt referral to the appropriate level of care for further management.
CONAMKAT Community Nursing Programme Admission Eligibility
- Applicants MUST be indigene of Katsina State.
- Applicants MUST possess at least four (4) credits at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language, Biology and any two of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO and/or NABTEB.

The sale of Online Application Forms for admission into the COMMUNITY NURSING programme at Kasimu Kofar Bai School of Nursing, Katsina will commence on Tuesday, 31st May, 2022 and ends on Thursday, 30th June, 2022.
Cost of Form: Two Thousand, Five Hundred Naira ₦2,500 (excluding bank charges).
