A bakkie collision with a tree on Delfos Boulevard leaves two killed and one injured

A bakkie collision with a tree on Delfos Boulevard in Vanderbijlpark this afternoon claimed the lives of two individuals and left another with moderate injuries.

At 12:33 a.m., ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene, along with Emfuleni Fire, SAPS, and GPG. One male patient, who had self-extricated, was discovered seated against another tree away from the truck. GPG discovered he had moderate injuries and treated him before transporting him to the hospital.

Two adult men were discovered entangled in the bakkie, with no visible signs of life. ER24 declared them both dead upon their arrival. Emfuleni Fire was on present to assist in the removal of the deceased.

The incident’s circumstances are unknown to ER24, but the South African Police Services were on the site to conduct further investigation….
