Paul Pogba has confirmed that his contract with Manchester United will expire at the end of the month.

Pogba joined United from Le Havre in 2009 and has made 233 first-team appearances, scoring 39 goals.

After starring in the FA Youth Cup-winning team in 2011, the midfielder moved to Juventus the following year, where he won a slew of awards.

The squad posted a parting message on social media, saying, “wishing you the best for your next step!”

It is something to be appreciated and cherished when a player makes 200 games for Manchester United and wins the Youth Cup, as well as two big awards – not to mention the World Cup on an international level.

“Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Paul on his successful career and thank him for his contributions to Manchester United. We wish him all the best for the next steps on a remarkable journey.” Manchester United’s statement read.

In 2016, Pogba returned to Old Trafford but fell short of expectations, winning the EFL Cup and the Europa League in his first season back.

The 29-year-old, who won the World Cup with France in 2018, will leave United on a free transfer for the second time.
