After a 15-year-old kid was discovered stabbed to death near a Wolverhampton canal, a 16-year-old boy was detained on suspicion of murder.
At about 4.15 p.m. on Friday, the man was discovered wounded near a bridge on Reapers Walk in the Pendeford district of Pendeford and subsequently died.
A 16-year-old Wolverhampton teenager was detained soon before 7 p.m., according to West Midlands Police.
A 46-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
A cordon has been placed at the scene and the force is speaking to witnesses and reviewing CCTV.
