Later this summer, Piers Morgan will take a month break from his Talk TV show, which is struggling to draw the same viewers as when it first debuted.
On April 25, the 57-year-old former Good Morning Britain host averaged more than 300,000 viewers for his first program, in which he interviewed former US President Donald Trump.
However, since then, the show’s popularity has plummeted, with recent episodes attracting just roughly 30,000 viewers.
The broadcaster will be absent from the channel for around four weeks in late summer due to a pre-planned vacation and filming responsibilities for a true crime documentary series he is producing.
Andrew Neil, the former GB News chairman and lead presenter, never returned from a long vacation earlier this year after a falling out with his colleagues.
