Five people were killed in a small plane crash in south-eastern France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region on Saturday.
French news channel BFMTV cited local police as saying that the accident had occurred in a clearing near the town of Adrets in the department of Isère, dpa international reported.
The small Jodel D140 aircraft belonged to a flying club and was conducting its first flight.
It took off from Versoud airfield near Grenoble.
According to information obtained by the regional broadcaster France 3, the victims of the crash were a family of four adults and one child.
