Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander heritage month is an annual celebration that recognizes the many contributions of people of Asian, Hawaiian and Pacific Islander descent in the U.S. This month provides an opportunity to learn the history of Asian American, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders (ANHPI) in Seattle and beyond and to celebrate the diverse cultures that make up these communities.

The Seattle Fire Department would like to thank our Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander employees for all they do for our department and city. The diversity of ANHPI communities and their rich history can be witnessed across Seattle. Here are a few places that offer a glimpse of this rich history and present reality.
