Amber Heard’s agent says Depp’s allegations stalled her career

Amber Heard’s talent agent claimed the actor’s rise to fame was diminished due to the allegations made by Johnny Depp’s attorney claiming she faked her injuries

Jessica Kovacevic, Amber Heard’s talent agent, claimed its unlikely for a star involved in a movie as successful as Aquaman to not have their career take off.

Aquaman was DC’s most successful movie, grossing $940.7 million, with Kovacevic saying Heard should have seen a similar, albeit smaller, rise to fame like her co-star, Jason Momoa.

Kovacevic claimed Heard’s stardom was dimmed due to the allegations made by Johnny Depp’s attorney, Adam Waldman, who claimed Heard had faked her injuries and the damages to Depp’s Los Angeles penthouse.

Kovacevic also claimed that Heard lost out on a role for an Amazon movie with Mexican actor Gael Garcial Benal because of Waldman’s allegations.

‘No one can say out loud, ‘We’re taking this away from her because of this bad press,’… but there’s no other reason,’ Kovacevic said.

Depp has said that it was his connections in Hollywood that helped Heard land the role on Aquaman, with Heard claiming that she got the job on her own.

Jessica Kovacevic, Amber Heard’s talent agent, is the next person to take the stand and testify in the Johnny Depp vs. Heard defamation trial via video deposition.

Kovacevic said Heard’s career was rising following her appearances on Aquaman and that she tried to renegotiate a rise for Heard for the sequel film in the Justice League franchise.

Kovacevic claimed Heard was set to earn $2 million for Aquaman 2, but Warner Bros. decided to diminish her role, citing a ‘lack of chemistry’ between Heard and Aquaman star Jason Momoa.
