US ambassador stresses deepening economic ties with Bahrain

US Ambassador Steven Bondy has stressed Bahrain-U.S. bilateral economic priorities.

“The strength of the U.S.-Bahrain bilateral relationship is built on free trade and shared prosperity,” Bondy told the American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain (AmCham) members and the wider business community at its bi-monthly Business Networking Luncheon.

“AmCham plays a pivotal role in promoting new business and investment opportunities for American, Bahraini, and other international companies.”

Bondy said he viewed AmCham as a critical partner in the effort to deepen economic ties between Bahrain and the United States, to both countries’ benefit.
