Bahrain All Share Index gains 23.37 points

Bahrain All Share Index closed at 2,011.65 points marking an increase of 23.37 points above the previous closing.

This increase was due to the rise in the Consumer Discretionary Sector, Financials Sector and Materials Sector.

Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 733.50 points marking a decrease of 4.08 points below the previous closing.

Results indicated that 138 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,926,692 worth BD 950,323.

Investors traded mainly in the Materials Sector representing %42.08 of the total value of securities traded.
