McCarthy will play in a dream 5-a-side football alongside Liverpool and Barcelona legend Luis Garcia, according to SoccerLaduma.

The Heineken All-Invitational will take place on 14th May 2022 at Gallagher Estate in Johannesburg. It is an indoor soccer tournament consisting of local and international legend.

McCarthy is a Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates legend.
