Magnitude 6.6 earthquake strikes Jujuy, Argentina region

BUENOS AIRES, An earthquake of magnitude 6.6 struck the area of Jujuy in Argentina, Reuters quoted the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) as saying on Tuesday.

The quake was quite deep, 182 km (114 miles) below the Earth’s surface, EMSC said.
