YouTube star and ‘dating guru’ Kevin Samuels dies aged 57 after having ‘chest pains’

YouTuber and ‘dating guru’ Kevin Samuels has died aged 57 after suffering from ‘chest pains’, reports say.

Police were called to the Residence Buckhead Atlanta, an upscale apartment complex, after a 911 caller – later identified as Ortensia Alcantara, 32 – reported a ‘person injured.’

When Atlanta Police Officer Joel Figuereo arrived at the residence, an EMS worker was observed ‘performing CPR to a black male’ who was ‘unresponsive on the floor of his apartment.’ Alcantara later identified the male to be Samuels.

Alcantara, a nurse, told police she met Samuels the night before and had ‘spent night with him.’

Early in the morning, Samuels reportedly started experiencing chest pain and she ‘attempted to help him… but he fell on top of her.’

She requested a defibrillator from the front desk to ‘keep Mr. Samuels responsive until [EMS] arrived.’ He was transferred to Piedmont Hospital, where he died.

Samuels, who is estimated to be worth $4million, said it was ‘intended to let [women] know where you are in the market,’ he said with a metallic model of a woman’s torso in the background.

He also said ‘not all women can have men’ and suggest women ‘share’ them.

He also angered viewer after rating women based on their appearance and dress size. He even rated singer Saweetie an ‘adjustable six.’

‘She can go from cute to pretty,’ he told Joe Budden on his podcast. Many said his dating advice was sexist and toxic, NBC News reported.

Following his death, journalist Ernest Owens said: ‘Kevin Samuels has made a career off of shamelessly disgracing Black women for profit.

‘He emboldened the most toxic individuals to project tired and harmful narratives about Black women.

‘Dead or alive, what a disgraceful life to live. That’s all I’ve got for that misogynist.’

Musician Jean Deaux tweeted: ‘What did Kevin Samuels die from? Being 56 and unmarried.’
