RIP: Former Romanz singer Adam Barnard passes away

In a statement on Facebook, Barnard’s wife told fans that her husband can finally be pain-free, also thanking fans for their prayers.

“Adam left for his heavenly home early this morning where he can finally be pain-free and sing and run again. Thank you to everyone who carried us in prayer and still will. The world’s prayers surround us and that’s what we need now,” she said in a statement.

According to a statement released by the family on 30 April, the singer’s body, soul and spirit were tired.

“When he heard he would be admitted again for infection it was like a rock he had to carry. It was not that serious at first and would be fast. Until last Saturday that he was put on the ventilator again. He spoke a few moments before this. After that, he hasn’t reached consciousness yet and showed little to no reaction,” the statement read.
