Global COVID-19 caseload topped 513.48 million

The overall number of people who contracted the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) surpassed 513.48 million worldwide.

According to results of a Reuters tally released on Friday, the pandemic has so far caused the death of 6,640,771 people.

The US has topped the list with 997,579 deaths and 81,672,286 infections, followed by India with 523,975 deaths and 43,091,393 infections.
