Hot off of his first-ever Grammy win, Black Coffee headed to Indio, California to perform for thousands of music lovers. Black Coffee attended the first Coachella weekend with his eldest son Esona, who also accompanied him to the Grammy Awards in Las Vegas.
During the Coachella weekend one vlog, Black Coffee says: “It’s the best Grammy afterparty.”
“Somehow the music lovers that go to Coachella are people who are fully aware of the culture of music. I’m nervous about the stage though, it’s a big stage.”

Major League DJz made history as the first amapiano artists to perform at Coachella. This comes after the twins became the first South African artists to sign to American-based record label, Atlantic Records.
While playing their set, Black Coffee and his son stood on the stage as Major League DJz entertained the crowd.
