The Bishop on the Niger, the Right Reverend Dr. Owen Nwokolo has called on Christians to follow the steps of Jesus Christ in other to overcome their challenges.

Bishop Nwokolo in his 2022 Easter Message at the Bishop’s Court Onitsha said at creation, God made it that man would enjoy freedom, have liberty, economic boom and enjoy His divine presence but unfortunately, man lost all these opportunities because of sin, which brought hardship, suffering, sickness, uncertainties and death.

As according to him, Easter commemorates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who came to liberate mankind so that people will maximize the potentials God gave them.

He, therefore, charged Christians to appraise and reappraise the teachings of Jesus Christ noting that Christ conquered the world through patience, humility and faith reminding Christian faithful that there are still grounds to conquer if they depend on Christ while wishing Ndi Anambra a happy Easter celebration.
