Rhoda Kadalie, a human rights activist, died in Los Angeles at the age of 68.
She has served as a human rights commissioner in the past.
Kadalie was also the founder of the University of the Western Cape’s Gender Equity Unit.
She had a lot of experience as a professor. Kadalie was born in Cape Town, but has just returned to the United States.
Her brother Bruce Kadalie wrote on Facebook that she had a “big and wonderful life” that had an impact on many people.
