‘Skeem Saam’ viewers celebrate Meikie Maputla’s release from prison

Skeem Saam viewers have taken to social media to congratulate actress Harriet Manamela for her excellent portrayal of John Maputla’s wife – Meikie Maputla while she was in prison.

This is after Meikie got released from prison last night (14 April) after serving three months of her 15-year prison for the attempted murder of John’s son – Kwaito Maputla and his baby mama Mantuli Seakamela.

MEIKIE MAPUTLA IS FREE  

Meikie Maputla’s fans on the SABC1’s educational soapie Skeem Saam are thrilled that she’s finally freed from prison despite her husband – John (Africa Tsoai) not being pleased about her freedom.

She and her lawyer – Advocate Bopape appealed her sentence and she got released from prison.

The viewers as well as her sons Leeto (Eric Macheru), Tbose (Cornet Mamabolo), her daughter-in-law Mapitsi (Mogau Mothlatswi) and Advocate Bopape are happy about her release.

Her husband John Maputla, his mistress Melita, his baby-mama Mantuli, Katlego Peterson, Charles Kunutu, and some community members are unfortunately not pleased about her release and wish for her to go back to prison.

John believes his wife is a danger to society and should serve more time behind bars because she will try to kill again.

A sangoma also revealed that Meikie will shoot and kill again as she shot and killed Tumishang in 2020.

‘SKEEM SAAM‘ VIEWERS REACT   

John will file for divorce as he believes that his marriage to Meikie is over and she won’t be shocked when she receives the news, according to to TVSA April teasers.

Her husband has been cold towards her and has made little effort to visit her in prison and didn’t welcome her home last night when she arrived home.

He also hasn’t taken responsibility for the damage he’s caused in his marriage and feels no remorse.
