LAGOS GOVERNOR, SANWO-OLU CONGRATULATES DANGOTE AT 65TH BIRTHDAY

Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, has congratulated Alhaji Aliko Dangote, the Nigerian business billionaire and President of the Dangote Group, on his 65th birthday. Dangote, who turns 65 on Sunday, April 10, is a well-known businessman, seasoned administrator, and philanthropist who has made significant contributions to the economy and well-being of many Nigerians, according to him.

According to Sanwo-Olu, the business magnate is doing a lot for Nigeria by contributing to the country’s economic progress and providing jobs and empowerment to millions of people, particularly youths, across the country.

Governor Sanwo-Olu praised Alhaji Dangote’s contribution to the Nigerian economy through his various manufacturing companies in different parts of the country, particularly the Dangote Fertilizer Plant and the Dangote Refinery in Lekki, Lagos, in a message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, on Sunday.

“I join family, friends, and business associates in congratulating you (Alhaji Aliko Dangote) on your 65th birthday celebration on behalf of my wife, Ibijoke, Lagos State Government, and the wonderful people of Lagos State,” he stated.

“Considering how God has used you to bring smiles on the faces of many Nigerians working in your companies, you are a blessing to your generation.” You are a respected business leader and an employer of labor who makes a constructive contribution.

“Lagos is delighted to be associated with you because of the outstanding work you are doing in our state by establishing two of your main firms – Dangote Fertilizer Plant and Dangote Refinery – which have created thousands of job possibilities for Lagosians.”

“We wish to express our gratitude to God for the blessings in your life and for putting your commercial acumen and philanthropic gestures to good use in our society.
