Kaizer Chiefs suffer blow as star attacker is ruled out for TS Galaxy clash

Kaizer Chiefs will have to do without one of their star attackers for Tuesday’s league encounter against TS Galaxy at the FNB Stadium.

Kick-off is at 19:30.

Saturday’s man of the match Khama Billiat will NOT be available for selection as he will be serving a one-match ban.

Billiat received his fourth yellow card of the season against Chippa United on Saturday – and his absence will certainly come as a massive blow.

And that’s because the speedy attacker has been in scintillating form for Chiefs this season and a focal point to their attack under Stuart Baxter.

WHY BILLIAT ABSENCE IS A MASSIVE BLOW FOR KAIZER CHIEFS

Following a few difficult seasons with injuries and loss of form, Billiat appears to have regained his old form for Chiefs this season.

He has featured in 19 league games for the Glamour Boys, but most importantly, Billiat has netted six times while registering eight assists.

To some, Billiat’s resurgence is due to the fact that he’s often played with Keagan Dolly whom their understanding dates back to their days at Ajax Cape Town.

But to others, it was a matter of ‘class is permanent and form is temporary‘ as the former Warriors man continues to dazzle opposition defenders with his brilliance.
